BioMERS is an immersion bath ideal for most instruments and tools. While other immersion baths can take 40 to 90 minutes to reach a tuburculicidal level, BioMERS can acheive this benchmark in just one minute. BioMERS contains no glutaraldehyde or acids and is safe for professionals and patients.

Protocol: Pour BioMERS into bath. Keep bath covered to prevent evaporation. Immerse objects (Glass, Metal or Plastic) and Instruments (mixed metals) for a minimum of one minute and maximum 10 minutes. BioMERS is ideal for disinfecting jewelery, dentures, hearing aids, mouthguards and splints. Irritation from most immersion disinfectants is well known to cause several types of dermatitis and stomatitis. BioMERS is kind to skin and does not require gloves.
Helpful Tips: USE FULL STRENGTH - Never dilute. BioMERS may be used as a chairside/bedside pre-soak for instruments to reduce risk prior to transporting them to the sterilization area. Avoid overnight soaking of rubber, non-crosslinked plastics or painted items. If uncertain about compatibility test with a drop of BioMERS. BioMERS is safe on skin for disinfecting minor cuts and abrasions.
